O...M....G... I did it! I finished a month. I had a blast, my kids had a great time and I was lucky enough to get to include some of my clients. I have learnt a lot in just these 31 days of January and I have been able to really think about the scope of this project. I always knew that my 365 project would look different to the projects of the photographers I admire. Part of that difference would be fluidity. I didn't want to set myself hard limits because I wanted this project to challenge me but not confine me. So the goal posts have changed to a basketball net.
I was determined to at least finish a month of my original goal (fully edited image a day) and I have done that *yippee*. The new goal is to work on an element of photography every day whether it's editing an image, sewing a costume, building a set, hot glueing my fingers, finding a location or shooting a session. I will still make a record of what I am working on with Behind the Scene snapshots posted on my Instagram every day. I have some big ideas swirling around this head too small for most hats and I am determined to get them out there. Wish me luck xo

PS This is a very late post. We went camping for the long weekend. Great tent, awful sleeping, lost a MATTRESS, it just flew out of the trailer, the best company, lots of sun, swimming and fun, and apparently we came back with the plague. This week every single Belmen at one time or another has lain on the couch wondering what vengeful god we had forgotten to supplicate. We made it through but the kids might now have an exclusive wardrobe of hazmat suits.
